About me & my approach
My name is Lyndsey Litwin and I have 6 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and families. During this time, I have been trained in various modalities and in my practice today I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness- based therapy, motivational interviewing, attachment-based therapy, and a strengths-based perspective to inform my work with clients. I received my Master's in Social Work from University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and my Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Wisconsin- Madison (Go Badgers!). I am credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Wisconsin.
Therapy with me is compassionate and collaborative. My goal is to provide a space that is welcoming for you to share what is on your mind and we will work together to discover real-life solutions and skills that you can use in your daily life. I also believe that therapy doesn't always have to be serious; it can be a space where laughter and lightness coexist with self-discovery, offering a holistic approach that embraces both the challenges and joys of personal growth.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog, cat, and spouse. A few of the things that I love are gardening, concerts, grabbing coffee, reading a great book, dining at a new restaurant, and spending time with my family and friends.

As a compassionate and dedicated therapist, my mission is to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore challenges and personal growth. Together, we will work towards fostering positive change, empowering you to lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I look forward to accompanying you on this journey.
